Beloit, Wisconsin – Mastercraft Ventures today announced an investment in Gesund Health Data as part of a financing round that included additional investors.
Gesund is building a clinical intelligence platform for life insurance underwriting. By transforming electronic health records, prescription histories, laboratory results, and medical claims into a single clinical narrative, Gesund helps insurers make faster, more accurate risk decisions while reducing the time and cost of underwriting.
The company is led by CEO Scott Coller, who previously helped build this product category at one of the industry's leading health data and underwriting platforms. The founding team combines deep expertise across life insurance underwriting, clinical medicine, healthcare interoperability, and enterprise software development.
